“Baxter’s Back! After sitting in the garage for 5 years, our 1948 Dodge Deluxe Sedan (Baxter) needed quite a bit of work to get him up and running. I found StreetMod Designs after an extensive search just to find someone to field my questions about classic car service/repair. David was straight forward and able to reassure me that StreetMod could handle all that was, and could possibly be, going on with the car. I was amazed when, after assessment, David gave me a detailed rundown that was accurate and prioritized into level of need. Throughout, David kept me updated regularly. His response to any questions was remarkably prompt. As we got into service/repairs, a few new issues come up with each being explained in detail, often with accompanying pictures and/or video. I never felt pressure in decision making once given all the info and options. Instead, we reached an agreement with each situation before proceeding. I was never caught off guard with a change in any parts or labor quotes. Upon completion, the invoice was detailed, easy to understand and not at all a shock. Bottom line… Baxter’s Back! and is running like a CHAMP. I felt bad letting him sit as long as I did, but am elated that he is again back to being a functional part of our family. Thank you David and thank you StreetMod Designs! Sincerely, Scott Dobbs”

“StreetMod Designs provided me with exceptional customer and mechanical service!  I was promptly told what issues existed with my car. We came up with a plan.  The repair costs were discussed upfront and were affordable. Through the repair process, the communication was superb!  I knew what was being done at every phase.  Most importantly, my car was handled with care and repaired right. Other DFW classic car shops promised me completed repairs in 2-4 months. StreetMod Designs had my requested repairs (and there were many) completed for my ’56 Chevrolet Bel-Air within 6 business days!!!  That’s crazy!

My classic car has a new car doctor for maintenance and repairs!  Major thanks StreetMod Designs!”

“I met with (owners) David and his wife Ashley for a consultation in reference to a plan for my 57 T Bird. I immediately formed a positive connection and sense of effortless rapport with them due to the clear communication which was established. I was provided with advice that was clear and precise in addition to receiving a printed work order of the anticipated mechanical work that would be needed. This pattern of clear communication continued prior to the start of any issue, making my experience with this shop one that was both enjoyable and simple. I am extremely pleased so far with the handling of this project. I highly recommend StreetMod Designs. T. Runnels”

“I want to thank David and Leo for the exceptional service I recently received on my 65 Ranchero. They installed a complete new wiring harness, Dakota Digital Instrument Cluster and performed many other miscellaneous repairs. The quality of the work was excellent, was done in a timely fashion and within the budget of the estimate provided in advance of the repairs. I would recommend StreetMod Designs without reservation.”

“David and his team at StreetMod Designs are amazing! Wonderful service, great communication, super clear work estimates, and excellent attention to detail. I’ve performed a lot of engine and body work myself and I’ve used many service and repair shops over the years, and I can unequivocally say that StreetMod Designs is the best experience ever. And I have to admit that just walking around his build shop and engaging with his team and seeing all of the hotrods they are working on is a thrill! I asked them if I could just drop in once in a while and help build restomods to get in on the excitement of building beautiful cars. My ’66 Chevelle is in perfect, show-quality shape thanks to David and his team.”

“David and team at StreetMod Designs replaced the entire wiring harness in my 67 Firebird, installed a Dakota Digital Gauge Kit with GPS, upgraded my alternator, and did some work on the suspension. I couldn’t be happier with the work they performed, their attention to detail and taking the extra step to make sure everything was perfect!  David kept me updated on the progress and is super easy to work with and extremely professional.

If you have a classic/muscle car, they should be your home shop!  They are mine, for sure!!!”

“This is hands down one of the best places to go for your car/truck needs. David took on a project that most people wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole as the truck was modified from bumper to bumper. We gave it to him in pieces and he had no issues what so ever tackling the project. This truck didn’t have a stock part on it and many parts are of a custom nature. Even at that, David worked his magic and went through with a fine tooth comb to make it street worthy again. Amazing work and I will be a return customer without a second thought to it. They are true mechanics and I’m so confident in there ability we have a line of projects we want done by him and his shop. If you need it he can do it and do it will a smile and pure professionalism every time.”

“I can’t thank David, Ashley, and the StreetMod Design team enough for getting Betsy back on the road. From the beginning when I called they were very professional and honest of when they could schedule my car for an overall inspection. After the inspection David was very upfront of what it would take to get it ready to drive. But didn’t make me feel pressured at all. Also, gave his feedback on additional items that should be fixed but again didn’t pressure me to complete. All prices were made to me upfront and they had a great process from the beginning to the end. The communication was great and get updates through out the project. I can’t wait to do more projects with them!!!!!!”

“Have been looking for a shop that does it all and after researching local businesses online I found Steeet Mod designs. I filled out their online form and sent pics of my 73 Vette and immediately received a response from Ashley. The next day I had an estimate and David came up with exactly what I have been looking for and at a great price. David has responded immediately with any questions I’ve had. Currently on the schedule this coming week awaiting our new crate motor. So far our experience has been nothing but the best. Looking forward to the finished product.”

“StreetMod was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad he did. The professionals at StreetMod did a complete replacement of my fuel system, removal and replacement of engine harness, installation of Dakota Digital dash, new mufflers, ECM and battery relocation, and air intake modification and relocation. Truly a one-stop shop of experts. This was on my LS swapped K-10. The shop completed every step to perfection. Trust ANY of your rides to the StreetMod team.”

“When looking for someone to help me out of the mess I was in I found David at StreetMod Designs. I had a 1980 Corvette with no engine in it. Had a Chevy performance 383 crate engine and complete Global West suspension to put on the car. I told him I knew it might be tough because so much was apart. He told me puzzles are what they do. I am from OKC and no one wanted to listen to me when I said I wanted a hot rod Corvette. Completely cleaned engine bay and frame. Wanted a super clean survivor look. Everyone in Oklahoma wanted to paint and make a trailer queen. He listened and the car was better than I ever imagined it would be. Kept me informed when a road bump came up and took care of them. He and Ashley even drove it enough miles to break in the engine for me. My wife and I road the train to Fort Worth and drove the car home. I am getting my second car ready to have him fix it. Great People”

“After going through a horrible experience at DLP auto in Haltom City I tried looking up a shop that could possible help me get my 86 Camaro running again and I came across StreetMods in Tarrant county and man they did a great job at explaining to me what needed to be done step by step and finally getting me on the road again. They have a great team of people there in a great atmosphere lead by David Knapp and a great assistant in Ashley. I can’t see anyone choosing them and not coming out pleased with the results.”

“We had such an incredible experience working with StreetMod Designs. We brought in our ‘92 Dodge 2500 with all kinds of electrical issues, no functioning AC, etc. They went above and beyond to fit us into the schedule and take a look at it. They were SO communicative, kind and professional. They worked quickly and did a phenomenal job on the truck! They even followed-up a few days later to ensure everything was still running smooth. We couldn’t have asked for more!! HIGHLY recommend you work with them for any future needs. They do it all and do it very well!!!!!”

“They were very professional about working on my truck. Gave me different options for work I needed to have done. Prices were great. Best prices for work I wanted done on my truck. Distance was farther than I really wanted to drive but with their prices I can drive that far.”

“I can’t say enough about this business and how great it was dealing with them. I took my Kia Stinger GT2 in to have my Borla cat back exhaust installed cold intake filter’s for the turbos and the JB4 installed. I took it in at 1pm and had it back at 530pm. It runs great and the labor was so inexpensive I couldn’t believe it. So if you want great and friendly service and not a ripe off like so many other places I called I highly recommend Street Mod is the place to go. Especially if you have a Kia Stinger GT2.”

“David absolutely nailed the install of the coilovers on my ‘20 MX-5. Ride height and alignment was spot on to what was requested. Even with the problems that arose from a snap ring not being connected from the manufacturer properly, the job and fix to the coilover was done much faster than I was expecting. When I need more work done I will absolutely be going back.”
